The Food Safety Authority of Ireland (FSAI) stated that 12 closure orders and one prohibition order were served on food businesses during the month of July – making last month one of the highest in 10 years for enforcement orders issued. Closure orders were served under the EC (Official Control of Foodstuffs) Regulations, 2010 on New Jasmine House restaurant, Aiden Street, Kiltimagh, Mayo on July 17 2012.
